Description

At the 2021 annual American Bar Association meeting, former United States Secretary of State John Kerry told the audience that "You are all Climate Change Lawyers now, whether you want to be or not".

Climate change is one of the pre-eminent threats in the world, an existential danger to all of humanity. As the situation worsens, it is imperative that nations, industries, and organizations collaborate to create sustainable solutions to this all-encompassing problem. Whether in banking, corporate, immigration, or international law, lawyers of all stripes will need to deal with the ramifications of climate change.

Join Manifest Climate Co-Founder, and University of Toronto Faculty of Law Alumna, Laura Zizzo as she discusses:

  • Her background as a lawyer and entrepreneur devoted towards a low-carbon and climate adapted future
  • The evolution of climate law technology to support securities disclosure and better decision-making among organizations
  • How climate law is infiltrating all aspects of legal practice; and
  • What Manifest Climate is working on in their focus to build the world's best platform for navigating climate change
